GT WINGS £1M FUNDING SECURED from UK Government (CMDC6)

We’ve secured an additional £1 million in funding through CMDC6, supported by UK SHORE, and this follows multiple rounds of CMDC support, deepens our partnership with Carisbrooke Shipping Ltd and the University of Bath and opens up new partnerships with industry leaders Oceata and Datum Electronics

AirWing is the first commercially available Jet Sail – delivering serious thrust from a compact footprint. That means more vessels, even those with limited deck space, can now access the benefits of wind propulsion.

Thanks to UK SHORE for backing the future of clean shipping, and to our brilliant partners and team who keep pushing forward.

This project is funded by UK Government through the UK Shipping Office for Reducing Emissions (UK SHORE) programme in the Department for Transport (DfT), United Kingdom. UK SHORE has allocated over £230m since 2022 to develop the technologies necessary to decarbonise the UK maritime sector and capture the economic growth opportunity of the transition. Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation, is the main delivery partner for UK SHORE interventions.
