VidantaWorld Voyages to Launch ‘ELEGANT’ Ultra-Luxury Yacht in 2026
VidantaWorld Voyages announced the debut of ELEGANT, an ultra-luxury yacht set to enter service in the Mediterranean on April 11, 2026.
The vessel will operate through October 2, 2026, before returning for a second season from May to September 2027.
Seven-Night Mediterranean Itineraries Cover Key Regional Markets
ELEGANT will offer a series of seven-night itineraries focused on specific regions rather than multi-country rotations. Planned deployment includes the French Riviera, Spanish coast, Portugal and the Azores, the Greek Islands, the Adriatic Sea and Italian coastal itineraries.
The company said the program is designed to allow more in-depth destination experiences.
Capacity Reduced to 216 Guests to Increase Space Onboard
Originally designed to accommodate over 600 passengers, the vessel will instead carry 216 guests following a capacity reduction aimed at increasing onboard space.
According to the company, the redesign emphasizes larger accommodations, expanded public areas and additional lounge space, while removing the traditional main dining room in favor of multiple dining venues.
Itinerary Design Focuses on Overnight Stays and Late Departures
The itineraries will include overnight calls and late departures in selected ports, alongside tender operations that allow flexible access ashore.
This approach is intended to extend time in destinations and enable evening and nighttime experiences not typically available on standard cruise schedules.
High Crew-to-Guest Ratio and Butler Service in Select Suites
The onboard service model is based on a high crew-to-guest ratio, approaching one crew member per guest.
Butler service will be offered in higher-category accommodations, with staff trained through the British Butler Institute.
Onboard Features Include Marina Platform, Spa and Multiple Dining Venues
Public facilities onboard ELEGANT will include a pool deck, four hot tubs, a marina platform with direct sea access, a spa and fitness center, casino and a range of lounges and entertainment venues.
The ship will feature three main dinner restaurants, along with casual dining options and multiple bars and lounges distributed throughout the vessel.
New Brand Marks Vidanta’s Entry Into Cruise Sector
The launch of ELEGANT marks the entry of VidantaWorld Voyages into the cruise market, extending the company’s land-based luxury resort operations into ocean travel.
