VIDEO: Virgin Voyages' Scarlet Laday - enlisted world-renowned designers to recreate a yacht's sleek luxury.

The hype of the first ever Virgin Voyages cruise ship continues with the release of shiny new video rendering of Scarlet Lady.

Scarlet Lady is currently under construction at the Fincantieri Genoa shipyard in Italy and will begin service in Spring 2020.

The ship will be based out of Miami, Florida sailing a range of 4-night and 5-night Caribbean cruises with calls to Havana, Cuba; Costa Maya, Mexico, Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, and a new private beach club resort on Bimini in the Bahamas

The new ship will be for adults-only and will offer many industry firsts like the first Tatoo Studio at sea, the ditching of the traditional dining room concept and many more experiences not found on other major cruise lines.

The much-anticipated vessel will be 110,000 gross tons once complete and have a guest capacity of 2,770 along with 1,160 crew members. Another three identical ships are on order arriving in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
