In addition, travel agencies, tour operators, yards, cruise companies as well as service-companies get a lot of information out of the "Seereisenportal".

Owner and chief editor of the "Seereisenportal" is Dan Ackermann, who completed an apprenticeship in Hamburg as a shipping-merchant and worked afterwards nearly 30 years as purser and later as hotelmanager on numerous cruise ships from different shipping companies. Mr. Ackermann became acquainted with almost all relevant travel areas (Caribbean, Alaska, Mediterranean, North/Baltic Sea, Rivercruiss on Rhine, Elbe and Danube as well as voyages round the world).

To make those experiences usable for the visitors of the "Seereisenportal" is the goal of Dan Ackermann.
