TODAY, JANUARY 23RD, THE FIRST TICKETS FOR THE NEW BALTIC SEA CRUISE SHIP M/S BIRKA GOTLAND WILL BE RELEASED.
At the same time it is announced that the first cruise will be from Stadsgårdskajen in Stockholm to Mariehamn on March 20th.
From the Easter weekend, the ship will also offer cruises and regular trips to and from Visby.
The trips will be sold via the brand new website birkagotland.se and through the Viking Line and Destination Gotland channels .
The shipping companies Viking Line and Gotlandsbolaget have jointly founded the new company Gotland Alandia Cruises, which operates the ship Birka Gotland under the leadership of CEO Susanne Kaarnimo-Knight. The first day cruise from Stockholm to Mariehamn with the Birka Gotland will take place on March 20, 2024 at 5:30 p.m.
"Now we can finally invite everyone who is curious to our new website birkagotland.se and start the countdown to the premiere cruise together. On the website we present all of our cruises and gradually publish news about our offers. Birka Gotland will depart every evening from Stadsgårdskajen in Stockholm and head to Mariehamn and Visby on selected departures. On Easter Vigil, March 30th, the first trip goes to Visby.
Over the course of the year, the Birka Gotland will call at Mariehamn and Visby as well as a number of other beautiful Baltic Sea resorts, such as Härnösand, Bornholm, Ystad and Riga. Tickets for these locations will be released on January 30th.
The trips can be purchased via birkagotland.se, Viking Line and the Destination Gotland channels. All Birka Gotland trips can be booked with connecting services to and from 78 different Swedish locations, which suits travelers.
