CIAO, BELLA: Sir Richard's Scarlet Lady Opens Presale for Maiden Season - Itineraries include Havana, see Deck Plans and more

Virgin Voyages' inaugural season sailings onboard Scarlet Lady are now available for booking for those who previously made a $500 deposit. The season, which begins April 2020 and runs through October 2020, includes 18 four- and five-night "Havana After Dark" Caribbean itineraries, with prices starting at $1,450 (excluding taxes and fees) for an inside cabin (not per person) based on double occupancy.

The line unveiled the details of its inaugural season on VirginVoyages.com; those who did not make a deposit can begin planning their cruise, but are not yet able to book. Bookings for non-deposit holders begins February 14.

Among the inclusions in Virgin Voyages' fares are unlimited Wi-Fi (you can pay an upcharge for streaming), basic beverages (soda, bottled water, drip coffee), group fitness classes at the gym, and gratuities.

Virgin Voyages revealed the preliminary deck plans for Scarlet Lady.

The deck plans, which indicates the location of previously announced spaces such as the Aquatic Club pool area, spa, fitness center, The Manor nightclub, The Dock outdoor retreat, the casino, atrium and Test Kitchen as well as some bars and restaurants. (All specialty restaurants will be included in the cruise fare.)

The deck plans also include three new venues called The Den (Deck 6), described as a "flex event space," The Scene (Deck 15), labeled as an "exclusive event space" and the "sun worship sanctuary" Sun Club and adjacent Sun Club Cafe.

Virgin Voyages offered a limited-time opportunity in late 2017 to put down a $500 deposit in exchange for the chance to book before cruises go on sale to the public.

In addition to details of the inaugural Caribbean cruises, Virgin Voyages recently revealed the room designs for its first cruise ship, see here...
