The Crypto Cruise Ship SATOSHI is on the way to her resting Place in Panama, arrival scheduled 22nd December 2020.
Chad Elwartowski, COO Ocean Builders, announced in October the purchase of the ms Pacific Dawn, ex P&O Australia cruise vessel.
The plan was to sell Cabins from 25.000 to 55.000, and the interest among the Digital Nomads crowd, people who already work from home, was tremendous, according to Chad Elwatowski. Well, that was the plan.
Now the Company has announced that instead of selling the cabins, they offer Rentals. Daily! Weekly and monthly as well as long term one-year lease.
According to the website for Viva Vivas, a spinoff company that is handling rentals of the staterooms aboard the MS Satoshi, nightly rates will range from $88 for an interior cabin to $885 per night for a suite that sleeps four.
For a one-year lease, prices start at $1,311 per month for interior cabins. Balcony staterooms will go for $2,777 per month, while mini-suites will set you back $3,818 per month. Six-month leases range from $1,468 per month to $4,276 per month.
The Registered owner of the Satoshi is Ocean Builders Central. Viva Vivas responsible for marketing, ship management is handled by Cyprus-based Columbia Cruise Services.
The original plan was to sell both living and retail space on board in an effort to create a self-sustaining community.
The 777 Cabins were to be auctioned off in blocks of 100 Staterooms. Only 10 Cabins were sold by the time the first bidding round closed on November 28th, 2020.
In the past years, several high-profile ventures had attempted to sell Ocean Residences. All have failed, none, except for THE WORLD, have made it past the marketing NOISE:
