Baleària and Fred. Olsen Express will incorporate the smart LNG ship Abel Matutes from Sunday, July 28, to the route that connects Huelva with the Canary ports of La Luz (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) and Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The shipping companies give continuity to their commitment to sustainability and digitalization on the routes between the Peninsula and the Canary Islands.
Like Naples, which it replaces, the Abel Matutes ship will be powered by dual gas engines, thanks to the recent remotorization, which ended in early July. On the other hand, the ferry also incorporates technological innovations that make it a smart ship, and improve the experience on board customers.
Smart’ technology and on-board entertainment
Among the main novelties, the WhatsApp coverage is free during the entire voyage, the digitalization of the entire signage, access to the boat and the accommodations through a QR code and digital entertainment on demand.
Likewise, smart TVs have been installed in all cabins, from which you can also access the digital content platform on demand.
Beyond digitalization, during the holiday period, magic performances have been scheduled for all audiences and children's entertainment workshops.
