The ship’s godmother, Sarah Fabergé, Founding Member of the Fabergé Heritage Council also performed her official duties by symbolically smashing a bottle over the bow.

Seven Seas Grandeur will boast the first Fabergé Egg to permanently reside at sea. Each Fabergé Egg has a name, and this one is known as “Journey in Jewels”. The Egg has an outer shell made from seven intricate ‘blades’ enamelled in tones of blue, representing the seven seas.

Just like a wave, each blade breaks into a sea foam of pearls and white diamonds. “Journey in Jewels” is sure to be the most captivating item in Seven Seas Grandeur’s 1,600 piece art collection.
